The Standoff Is Pending
New drama from growing studio
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- NOVEMBER 2, 1998 -- Sinister Films today announced
that The Standoff is ramping up for pre-production.
The Standoff, a new drama from Sinister Entertainment will begin filming soon
throughout Central Florida. The new film is tentatively scheduled for theatrical release in Summer 1999.
The film stars Michael Thomas Dunn as a young police detective fighting for his life.
Joe Granato also stars as an escaped convict toying with the young detective. Robin
Thompson will handle the cinematography for this 16mm Black & White film. Thompson will
be responsible for a unique "film-noir" look that will enhance the tension of the film. The
low-budget thriller is expected to be available on video and DVD sometime in the year 2002.
